The Black Bug

Hateful, messy Swedish noise-punk, but this time with relatively clean female vocals. But don't think that by clean vocals that I mean that the singers actually SINGING or anything, oh no! Just that here you can SOMETIMES make out what she's yelling at you. This is music to listen to while you are drunk, and also a robot. A really really angry robot.

blood

Sometimes you get tired of music.

Sometimes hearing things with notes, chords, and (heaven forbid) choruses and verses just gets to be too much for one man to take.

So praise Allah that we have folks like blood (formerly BLOOD!) to just make a bunch of fucking weird noise for far longer than could ever possibly be justified. Yes, blood live in that magical land of industrial music where mysterious beings like Nurse With Wound and Nocturnal Emissions dance in the mist, tempting drifters with their luscious bodies. A place where there is never, ever, EVER a reason to end a song just because you've been going for 30 minutes already. Music like this always makes AMAZING background music for acid trips or folding laundry or whatever, but if you want to put something on to dance then you'll probably just end up awkwardly doing the Charleston in a way totally unrelated to the sounds coming out of your speakers.

Grave Babies

Hailing from Seattle, as all bands do, Grave Babies are probably the most horror influenced non-shitty band still playing. Their sound is aggressive yet hypnotically beautiful lo-fi gothic punx, and with song titles like "eating babies" and "drugs", these Satan-Worshiping deviants make it clear that they oppose everything GODS America stands for. Keep these guys in your mp3player, but out of your children.

(pssst-their best track is "blood". It kicks ass.)
